Article 17. Abolition of Untouchability.—

“Untouchability” is abolished and its practice in any form is forbidden. The enforcement of any disability arising out of “Untouchability” shall be an offence punishable in accordance with law.

अनुच्छेद 17. अस्पृश्यता का अंत-

"अस्पृश्यता" का अंत किया जाता है और उसका किसी भी रूप में आचरण निषिद्ध किया जाता है। "अस्पृश्यता" से उपजी किसी निर्योग्यता को लागू करना अपराध होगा जो विधि के अनुसार दंडनीय होगा ।
